Admission in Diploma first year through Centralized Counselling Systems:
Candidates seeking admission in the Institute through JEXPO examination with valid rank are eligible to apply. JEXPO examination will be organized by the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development. Candidates having passed/ appeared in secondary (school leaving) exam are eligible to appear at ‘JEXPO’ Entrance examination test. There is no upper age limit for ‘JEXPO’ Entrance examination test. It is advised to follow ‘JEXPO’ Entrance examination test notification at council website https://webscte.co.in/ for lower age limit if any.

Admission in Diploma first year under the Management Quota:
Candidates seeking admission under the management quota should have required marks in secondary examination as per WBSCT&VE&SD (TED) norms.

Admission in Diploma second year (lateral admission):
Candidates having passed/ appeared in 10 + 2 board exam need to appear at ‘VOCLET’.
Or,
Passed 2 years’ ITI at a stretch after Madhyamik/ equivalent examination.
There is no upper age limit for VOCLET Examination.
